For both characters introduced the props we used and the way they acted helped represent their own social groups, for example the little girl, who is just an ordinary young girl oblivious to the big wide world not knowing how dangerous it is, holding a lot of imagination, playing with barbies. A girl who’s life will change very soon, the young girl safe and sound in her pink room, spoilt as ever with a double bed, teddy bears and objects to keep her company, this young girl stereotypes her generation, the young girly world all pink and full of barbies.
Whereas the man is not a stereotype of his ‘kind’ for example granddads are all about spoiling there grandchildren and loving them there the top of the family tree and should be someone who their loved ones go to, to talk to about their problems but in this case this man is out for revenge and all the good things he has done are fake, he wants revenge not a happy family. Granddads usually have a dark and gloomy house if they are depressed about losing their wife, but this character is dark and gloomy because he wants revenge.
